On the left is the “Romanesque Revival style Schermerhom Building at 376-380 Lafayette Street, built 1888-89, by architect Henry J. Hardenbergh.” In the center is “Cleverdon & Putzel’s slender Romanesque Revival style warehouse at 382 Lafayette Street, built 1895-96.”
