Milestone drawing: Today marks the 500th consecutive drawing in my drawing-a-day project, “Nick’s Lunchbox Service”, with the Angel of the Waters atop Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, sculpted by Emma Stebbins in 1873, the first woman to receive a public art commission in NYC.
