Lunchtime #drawing: Two tour groups made stops here while sketching 77 Bedford Street. The Issacs-Hendricks House (Harmon Hendricks was a copper merchant) is the oldest building in Greenwich Village, built in 1799, and altered after that in 1836 and 1928. Lunchtime #drawing: The Chestnut House at 3338 Wall Street was built in the late 1860s, and originally fronted on N. High Street, in Clintonville in Columbus, Ohio. The township school across High Street originally did not have running water, so students were sent to get water from the Chestnuts, who always seemed to have cookies…
