Lunchtime drawing: After living in Woodstock for a few years, Bob Dylan bought this townhouse at 92-94 MacDougal Street and lived there from 1966-67, but New York City (and fame) had changed in the meantime. Frozen-time drawing: I “Buffaloed-up” and went up on the frigid High Line for today’s drawing, the first time this year I had to keep my winter bicycling mitten on while taking the photo, due to the high winds that made it feel like 1°F. 46/365 from Nick’s Lunchbox Service on Tumblr http://ift.tt/1AbhviH via IFTTT

Lunchtime drawing: Patchin Place in Greenwich Village, a circa 1850 dead end alley with an original gaslight (since turned electric) at the end. An iron gate separates this alley from West 10th Street, and the best part is that there’s no “no trespassing” sign. from Nick’s Lunchbox Service on Tumblr http://ift.tt/1Da8Lgi via IFTTT

Closing out one full year of making a drawing every single day in 2014. Lunchtime drawing: The sunny but cold winter view across Central Park’s reservoir with clouds rolling overhead and the El Dorado building (a recurring subject). Guess I should celebrate with champagne tonight! Thank you for following along and the support and comments. […]
