Lunchtime #drawing: This V-shaped four-story brick building at 70 Greenwich Avenue at the corner of West 11th Street at 7th Avenue, was originally three separate houses, later combined, and built in 1853-54 for William Monteith. In 1891 H. Maiburn & Son Butchers and General Provision operated out of the storefronts, with fish & oysters being sold at the prow of the building. Now, there’s a florist and mailbox place.
Ok, just 3 more drawings to go until two full years of this #NicksLunchboxService drawing-a-day project!
