Lunchtime #drawing: A retired firehouse out of place between two big commercial buildings at 78 Morton Street. The Howard Red Rover Engine Volunteer used it 1864-65, and it later became Engine 24 through 1975. Later than lunchtime drawing: FDNY Engine Company no. 55 on Broome St in Chinatown/Little Italy. This firehouse was designed by N. LeBrun & Sons, who produced over 40 buildings for the FDNY between 1880 and 1895.
